JOHANNESBURG – WESTCON-COMSTOR, a global technology distributor specialising in cybersecurity, networking and hybrid cloud solutions, has signed a new distribution agreement with Networking-as-a-Service (NaaS) innovator Meter.
The agreement makes Westcon-Comstor Meter’s first distributor in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
Through this partnership, channel partners across EMEA will gain access to Meter’s disruptive, full-stack networking solution designed for rapid onboarding, simplified deployment and accelerated profitability.
By adding Meter to its networking portfolio, Westcon-Comstor enables partners to pursue new business opportunities and unlock deals constrained by limited IT budgets.
The subscription-based NaaS model allows partners to generate high-margin, recurring revenue streams without the need for significant upfront investment in additional skills or go-to-market resources.
Westcon-Comstor plans to drive adoption of Meter’s solution by equipping partners with comprehensive value-added services, including training, education, data-driven insights and full lifecycle management support.
Founded in California in 2015, Meter has redefined enterprise networking with a fully integrated offering that combines hardware, software and managed services into a single subscription.
Its pricing model is based on site size rather than the number of devices, delivering predictable and scalable costs while eliminating large capital expenditures.
Meter differentiates itself from traditional vendors through its vertically integrated, full-stack architecture.
A single operating system powers its entire technology stack — including switching, Wi-Fi, unified security and power — making it particularly well-suited to distributed organisations in sectors such as retail, logistics and higher education.
The service also includes co-managed deployment, ongoing support and lifecycle upgrades, reducing operational complexity and hidden costs for both partners and customers.
Daniel Hurel, Senior Vice President, Westcon EMEA Go-To-Market at Westcon-Comstor, said the partnership strengthens the company’s networking portfolio and opens significant growth opportunities across EMEA.
Adam Ulfers, Head of Sales and Channel at Meter, added that Westcon-Comstor’s regional reach and expertise make it an ideal partner to expand Meter’s footprint and deliver simpler, secure and scalable networking solutions across the region.
